“Dark Into Light” is the first official track to be released by Am & Shawn Lee. The project began when AM heard Lee’s music on the radio and reached out for a collaboration. They quickly began writing songs that were then debuted at SXSW and have created a certain amount of buzz. AM, indie pop artist from L.A., and Shawn Lee, american genre-bending musician who lives in London, are a good match for creating grooves that sound vintage yet very fresh and innovative. “Dark Into Light” is their first song to be officially released. Sometimes obscure and sometimes very bright, this debut tune will at least make you feel interested in what these guys are up to and will probably make you want to check out the album which will be coming out Aug. 30 by the name Celestial Electric. “Spin It Around” is the b-side to the single and is not part of the debut album.
